"Here goes nothing...here goes everything"....Bebo Norman
Well friends...Here we go! We are in the Atlanta airport getting ready to board Korean Air for Seoul. I have chill bumps all over as I type those words...is this really happening??? I want to thank all of you for your prayers..we feel them...We arrive in Seoul on Tuesday at 4pm Korea time(they are 14 hours ahead). Wednesday morning we have a city tour. Thursday morning we are going to the Holt Reception Center. Noel stayed here from age 4 months to 10 months. We will then get on a bus and got to Holt Ilsan. Ilsan was built in the late 1950s and is home to handicapped (both physically and mentally) orphans. Some have been there since the center opened. There are over 300 residents ranging in ages from babies/toddlers to adults. It is a very special place. A few days ago we asked for donations from our church (Lawndale Presbyterian) to take to the residents. THEY RESPONDED!!! Thank you Lawndale..we have over 80 pounds of vitamins, crayons, toys, etc to take to the orphanage. On Friday morning we are going to visit our friend Hanna Finley(junior at MC from Lawndale) who is doing a summer mission trip at the Heavenly Dreams School in Seoul. This school is for the children of North Korean Refugees. Hanna will then go with us to Holt to pick up Noel at 1:30. We are so thankful to have her there with us for support and to take pictures!! God's timing is perfect! Our plane just pulled into the gate....until next time from Seoul...stay tuned:)
